My passion for languages and literature began back in high school, where I chose to study foreign languages and literatures to nurture that deep interest in cultures and words. I discovered my love for interpreting and translation during the Week of Excellence at SSML Pisa, where I had the opportunity to get closer to this field: a discovery that has shaped my academic and professional path.
I continued my studies with a bachelor’s degree at SSML San Domenico, where I deepened my knowledge through my literary thesis dedicated to Jane Austen, titled “Pride and Prejudice: Analysis of the Novel and Its Translated Editions.” At the same institution, I pursued a master’s degree and wrote a further literary thesis dedicated to Virginia Woolf, entitled Virginia Woolf between Modernism and Feminism: Analysis and Translation Proposal of the Short Story “Kew Gardens” ” reflecting on the relationship between text, culture, and interpretation.
Alongside my academic journey, I attended specialised external courses that allowed me to refine specific techniques and skills, strengthening my attention to detail and precision, qualities I consider essential to ensure high-quality work. What guides me every day is a genuine love for this work and an awareness of the responsibility it entails: building bridges of communication and understanding between people who otherwise would not be able to connect. This passion, combined with a constant desire for improvement, drives me to always give my best with dedication and a smile.
